Summary: Bob Brinker's Moneytalk July 5-6, 2008

Summary, Commentary and Excepts: Bob Brinker's Moneytalk, July 5-6, 2008
.

Bob Brinker is taking the holiday weekend off. Bill Flanagan is filling in as guest-host.
.
Based on Flanagan's discussions and calls, gun-control, football seat licenses, and paying $millions to go to lunch with Warren Buffet are the hot topics on a show about "money."

Apparently, there were no callers who wanted to talk about a Dow and Nasdaq that are firmly in bear market territory, or an S&P which is about 1/2 of 1% from the bear's grasp.
.
However, a couple of times in the second and third hours of Moneytalk, Flanagan talked about the stock market for a short while.
.
In a nutshell, he said the market is definitely in a bear, but now is not the time to sell. He said it may take some time (even several quarters), but he believes the bear will eventually end and the market will turn around and go back up again.
